- Corn starch - Makes a great diaper rash preventer/cure. Doesn't have to be name brand. I would suggest getting a little shaker container and filling it then shake over little one's tushy during diaper change. Our little one has really sensitive skin and I have used this over and over. In addition especially at night you can apply diaper rash cream over top off the corn starch as a moisture barrier. This really helps over night when they aren't changed as often. - Celery - wrap in aluminum foil (covering even the ends) and it will last for weeks in the fridge. - Liquid fabric softener - pour some into a plastic bowl with a cover, soak sponge in liquid, squeeze out and toss in dryer with wet clothes. I've been using the same bottle since Oct. and it works great! - Vinegar - Pour 1/2 to 1 cup into laundry rinse cycle and will help to soften clothes instead of fabric softener (I've done this and it works but I prefer the sponge method listed above). - Shaving cream for woman - Don't have a clue if this would work for a man but instead of shaving cream try using inexpensive hair conditioner to shave. Works fine for me.
WHAT I THINK DOESN'T WORK Freezing canned biscuits. I had read that they freeze fairly well so I tried it. I don't recommend this. It changes them so that they come out tunnelly and tough. They won't rise the way they should.
